Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves brought in some wild crossovers. From the ressurection of the Capcom vs SNK beef and most recently – a certain anime villain to step in. However, before the latter arrives, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star will be entering South Town. Surprisingly, this world that he’s entering isn’t the post-apocalyptic version of his domain that he’s used to.
According to press, the Hokuto Shinken disciple’s target is Wolfgang Krauser. All the more reason to enter the King of Fighters Tournament to stand up for the weak in South Town.
From the look of things, Kenshiro is the only character capable of causing a dizzy state. Not really stun state, but something similar. Kenshiro has mostly close-range attacks with a couple of options for certain specials. He does have space control setups to boot. Or punch. Or fingers of death.

Kenshiro ends Season 2’s run of Nightmare Geese, Kim Jae Hoon, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and Mr. Karate. The gauntlet for 6 months is coming to a close after Kenshiro enters the fray. Clayton Alexander (EN) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (JA) voice the stoic warrior.
As for Season 3, two characters are all but confirmed completely thanks to the teasers – Rick Strowd and Laocorn. SNK promised that there will be a transparency with the releases, so more previews are expected. Kenshiro will also be playable at Evo Las Vegas 2026 on June 26-28.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is currently playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
