You may have heard of us, right? We hope so! A few years ago, several friends and I decided to start a gaming podcast, our own little place on the net where we could talk about video games and geek culture stuff without persecution. When we first started, it was hard to find a site or persons who did what we wanted. More so for our EIC, Keith Mitchell, who wanted to see geek culture done through the eyes of a BIPOC. Thus, The Outerhaven was born.
Little did we know that this passion would become the launching board for what we’ve become today. The Outerhaven Productions went from just a simple podcast to a website that has been providing coverage of not just video games but also comics, mangas, anime, technology, and just about anything that you can squeeze under the geek culture umbrella, from current news, reviews, bi-weekly and monthly podcasts that cover video gaming, manga to attending and covering events such as IndieCade, New York Comic Con, PAX East, and more.
Thanks to those who have followed us, those who read our content, listen to our podcasts, and watch our video productions. We promise we’ll keep doing what we are doing and strive to do even better.
I suppose this is all working. Last time we checked, we racked up nearly 6,000,000 million unique visitors and 18,000,000 page views on our website in 2022. While we’re sitting at close to 16,000 subscribers and 6 million views on our YouTube channel. And just like the Flintstone Kids, we’re still growing.
We also have several exciting shows you should check out
The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, a gaming podcast from our fellow Nintendo fans. If it involves Nintendo, Todd, , and Will are all over it and break down the latest and greatest from Nintendo.
Spectator Mode Podcast, is yet another gaming podcast from the minds of The Outerhaven. Recorded every weekend, this podcast is devoted to all things video games. It doesn’t matter if it’s AAA, Indie, or VR; we cover it all.
The A1-Podcast, anime fans, this show is for you. If it’s anime, we talk about it here.
