New “Friends Event” Coming To Fire Emblem Heroes Next Month

By Todd BlackFebruary 19, 2017
Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes has already had a bunch of content added to it since its launch on the 2nd. We’ve already had multiple characters added, paralogues and additional stages created and put into the game, and currently, there’s a 1.5x EXP event going on. So, what’s next?

Well,  a tweet made during Cipher 2017 states (via two of Fire Emblem Heroes directors) that there will be a “Friends Event” coming sometime next month. Sadly, we don’t have much more than that.

The fact that it’s focused on “Friends” could one of two things. First, it could mean the friends you’ve contacted/accepted in game, and that you can do something special with those friends. Or, it could mean that there are new characters coming that have a “friend” bond. Not unlike how recent additions Eirika, Ephraim, Julia, and Seliph were bound by a bond of family. We’ve made it clear who we want in the game next, in fact, we made two lists!

But which is it? It’s hard to say, the game is sometimes very random in what it gives players, and at what times it gives it to them. All we know is that this event is coming next month. So stay tuned Fire Emblem Heroes fans, we might just get something really cool.

Oh, and to hear how some of us at the Outerhaven are doing in the game, check out the latest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!
