With the open beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls kicking off on July 24 for PlayStation 5 and PC, Arc System Works and Sony have revealed the official PC system requirements for players planning to jump into the action on Steam.

Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
Memory: 16GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB
Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
Memory: 16GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB / AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB
One interesting observation is that Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls appears to be more graphically demanding than Street Fighter 6 on PC. While Capcom recommends an RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT for Street Fighter 6, Marvel Tōkon recommends an RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 7600 XT. The CPU requirements are nearly identical, suggesting the biggest increase is in GPU horsepower, likely to support the game’s more elaborate visual effects and stage presentation.
While the requirements aren’t especially demanding by modern PC standards, Sony and Arc System Works have not specified what resolution, graphics settings, or frame rate these specifications are targeting. We’ll likely get a much better idea once the open beta begins later this week.
If you missed it, the Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls open beta runs from July 24 through July 26 on PlayStation 5 and PC. It will feature 15 playable characters from the game’s 20-character launch roster, multiple game modes, and cross-platform play between PS5 and PC.
