New Diablo Immortal update from Blizzard

Yes Diablo Immortal is still in development

While the big news at Blizzcon 2019 surrounded Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone and World of Warcraft. It didn’t mean that the mobile version of Diablo, Diablo Immortal wasn’t given any spotlight time.

Sure, while we didn’t hear or see the game during the livestream, it still had a huge presence on the floor. Blizzard showed off the new build of the game and a few days ago they released a development update that you can check out below. Judging from this footage, the game looks similar to how it did the last time we saw it.

And despite this recent video, we still don’t know much outside of what was originally released in the past. The release date is still up in the air and ever since it’s unveiling during Blizzcon 2018, Blizzard has been quiet about it. Likely due to the frustration of gamers everywhere over Diablo Immortal being pushed over Diablo IV. All of which seems to be behind us, now that Diablo IV has finally been shown.

I’ll be honest, a mobile version of Diablo with an MMO spin to it doesn’t sound bad at all. Especially if you can get your Diablo gaming fix on the go, and if you can also use a controller because touch screen controls are terrible. Here’s to hoping we hear more about the mobile version of the popular top-down hack and slash title sooner than later.
