Insomniac’s Spider-Man Releases September 7th

By VeronicaApril 4, 2018
Spider-Man

As promised, Game Informer has announced the release date for Insomniac’s Spider-Man, and it’s soon. The game releases this September 7th exclusively on PlayStation 4.

Yesterday, Game Informer shared news that Spider-Man would be the featured cover story for their May issue. The 14-page story provides information on upgrades, leveling, and suit-crafting. They note that players may “bring back some of Spider-Man’s most beloved looks, of which there are many.” Additionally, the folks over at Game Informer had the opportunity to play the introduction of the game, the first main mission, and complete a few side quests in its open-world setting.

Sony also detailed some pre-order bonuses, the collector’s edition, and showed us the game’s box art. The Digital Deluxe version of the game gets you a digital copy, as well as a DLC series – Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City that Never Sleeps, which will drop sometime after launch. The Collector’s Edition gets you all this and a few extra goodies, like a steelbook copy of the game, an artbook, and an exclusive statue.

If you’re interested in everything Game Informer picked up over at Insomniac, pick up the May issue to learn more. Or, if you’d rather go in blind, you won’t have long to wait for the game to drop.
