Starting today and up until November 17th, 2017, Walmart will be selling the SNES Classic. I know there’s quite a few of us out there that still haven’t gotten one just yet. Whether it’s because someone canceled our pre-order or there simply wasn’t enough to go around. So if you’re in that crowd, you have another chance to snag one this week.
Starting at 11 AM PDT/2 PM EDT, Walmart will begin selling the SNES Classics on their website. They’re advertising that they’ll only be selling one per customer. Of course, the issue that many of us are going to have are bots. Sniper bots that are able to log in and place an order in a fraction of the time it would take a human. I’m also betting that the website is going to be quite unstable leading up to starting time. You might want to get those F5 pressing fingers ready.
Protip: If you don’t have a Walmart account, make sure you sign up for one now. Put in the information correctly. Name, address, email and most importantly, your credit card/payment info. That stuff is a huge pain to get changed. Trust me, I know from past experiences.
But you don’t get one, don’t get discouraged. You’re going to be fighting against man and machine.
