Will Wild Hearts Support Crossplay and Cross-Progression?

Wild Hearts - Golden Tempest_1280x720

Wild Hearts, the upcoming hunting title from EA Games and Omega Force, is the developer’s answer to Capcom’s acclaimed Monster Hunter Series, and it’s being released soon. In it, up to three players will be able to take on mystical beasts called “Kemono,” but you already knew that. What you want to know is if the game will support crossplay and cross-progression

Well, you’re in luck, as Omega Force is keen on supporting crossplay multiplayer action, unlike Capcom’s efforts.

Yes, Wild Hearts supports crossplay

As stated in the Wild Hearts official FAQ, Wild Hearts will support crossplay, enabling PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players to group up and take down those massive Kemono. This is great news if you weren’t sure which platform you going to play Wild Hearts on. With crossplay in the mix, it doesn’t matter.

Not only that, but adding crossplay also ensures that the Wild Hearts player pool will remain healthy, and there won’t be a shortage of players throughout the game’s life.

However, what we don’t know is if Wild Hearts will support cross-progression. While I’d like to think that due to crossplay being supported, that cross-progression is also supported, we’ll have to wait until EA or Omega Force states otherwise.

For more information about Wild Hearts, check out our “Everything we know about Wild Hearts” article.

Wild Hearts will be released on February 17th, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Origin, EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store).
