One of the most exciting moments was the reveal that Sora was coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Later in the same showcase, it was revealed that there was more news coming about Kingdom Hearts. We finally got an answer that excited fans until one thing was revealed. Kingdom Hearts was coming to Nintendo Switch. The big problem was that it was only the cloud versions of the game that were coming to Nintendo Switch. Finally, after years of pleading with Nintendo and Square Enix, the day has arrived. This morning, during a Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Kingdom Hearts is coming NATIVELY to Nintendo Switch 2.
This is one of the biggest days for us Square Enix fans who have been waiting patiently for a Switch port to be announced.

Players who own digital versions of the games on Nintendo Switch (Cloud ver.)*, PlayStation 4 or XBOX One* are eligible to receive a 50% discount on digital pre-orders and digital post-launch purchases on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. Nintendo Switch (Cloud ver.) owners will be able to transfer save data to Nintendo Switch 2; however, save data transfers are not supported for other platforms.
Good news, bad news situation. Yay discounts, but also boo for removing something people bought and not giving them a better upgrade discount. The cloud versions of the game are no longer being sold as of today. Also, you lose access to the cloud versions of the game once it gets discontinued in exactly one year from today!
I still think the news is mostly positive, getting off the ground of Nintendo Switch 2.
