Street Fighter VI shocked the world on Summer Games Fest with a Year 4 we won’t forget. To no surprise, they came with no backstories on their ends. Minus Bosch, who played the role as the second protagonist in World Tour mode. However, Capcom has added more to their stories in tweets recently.
Yasmine
A highschooler hailing from the Philippines joins the fight to search for her long-lost Kuya. Despite her shy and gentle demeanor, Yasmine beams with confidence whenever she uses her crescent-shaped karambit knife to dance around her opponents at high speed just like her Lolo taught her.
Arjun
Uses extraordinary lung capacity combined with yogic breathing to unleash explosive power with his unique Bare-knuckle Yoga techniques. While working as a police officer in India, Arjun was accused of killing a colleague and now lives on the run while he searches for the true culprit.
To be honest about that one, I thought it was actually Manesh from Street Fighter V just changing his name. I mean, they’re both cops from India who use their breath.
Bosch
Departed his home nation of Nayshall to pursue the true meaning of strength and eventually wins the sacred martial arts tournament. His travels brought him to Metro City where he trained under Luke to incorporate modern combat methods into the ancient techniques of Nayshall’s warrior faith.
Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa seems to be the odd one out so far, but if the days are there: her story should be coming tomorrow. According to interviews, Tifa is a hard character to get inclusion for when it comes to guests and Square Enix, in which we’ll get the interviews for momentarily.
Street Fighter VI is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XIS, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
