Before the launch of Starfield’s Terran Armada DLC on April 7th, 2026. Bethesda has decided to give fans something of a prequel to this DLC in the form of a new Starfield Animated Anthology episode. This latest episode reportedly leads directly into the events of the Terran Armada DLC.

Bethesda’s official statement on the episode is as follows:
“Ab Astris Ad Terram” is a brand new short in “The Settled Systems,” Starfield’s animated anthology series. Witness the Terran Armada at the height of its power, where their robotic army wields flawless coordination and ruthless efficiency to wreak havoc on the people of the Settled Systems.
The events of this episode lead directly into the opening of the Terran Armada DLC story content, but this is only the beginning. When Terran Armada launches on April 7, you’ll step into the story to save the Settled Systems from hostile takeover, with new faces, new choices and an authoritarian threat that never quits.
