Tickets are now on sale for a special theatrical experience, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond, which comes to select theatres for one-day-only on Monday, April 20 at 7PM (local time) in the U.S. and Canada as a part of Crunchyroll’s monthly Anime Nights theatrical program.

Audiences will also be treated to an exclusive special ten-minute sneak peek of the newest film in the franchise in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, which comes to theatres in North America starting May 1, 2026.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond was originally released theatrically by Crunchyroll in January 2023, and received a “verified hot” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
All seasons of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime are available to stream on Crunchyroll, with the upcoming Season 4 starting April 3, 2026.
The series follows Minami Satoru, an average 37-year-old who dies and is reincarnated as the most unremarkable creature imaginable—a slime. Initially, things are pretty grim. He’s blind, deaf, and weak. But by combining his two special abilities, “Predator” and “Great Sage,” the newly named, Rimuru Tempest, will use his blobby powers to gain both friends and foes alike in a diverse new world.
