Glimpse is a limited resource in Mortal Shell II that’s required to increase the Bond level of your Shells. While there isn’t a traditional way to farm Glimpses, you can get eight additional Glimpses by entering Night Mode and revisiting the locations where you originally acquired each Shell.
Enter Night Mode
To get access to additional Glimpse, you’ll first need to enter Night Mode. This makes Mortal Shell II considerably more difficult, but it also gives you access to additional rewards that aren’t available during the normal game.
If you haven’t unlocked or entered Night Mode yet, I’ve already put together a guide showing you exactly how to do that here. Once Night Mode is active, you’ll want to start revisiting the locations where you originally acquired your Shells.
Revisit Your Previous Shell Locations
Now that you’re in Night Mode, it’s time to revisit each location where you originally found a Shell can be revisited while Night Mode is active. Doing so will reward you with additional Glimpse.
This does require some backtracking, as you’ll need to return to the actual spot where each Shell was first acquired. Depending on how far you’ve progressed, some of these locations may be a decent distance from the nearest Beacon. Still, considering how limited Glimpse can be, it’s worth making the trip. If you’re trying to increase your bond levels with multiple Shells, revisiting your previous Shell locations is an easy way to pick up some additional Glimpse that you may have otherwise missed.
Be sure to look around when you get there, as they won’t always be obvious. For example, the extra Glimpse is access where you find Promixa’s shell, and the Glimpse for Gragu will be sitting in on the table as soon as you ended the One-Legged Wolf location.
Doing this will net you eight additional Glimpses in total. And considering how limited the resource is, that’s eight more Glimpses than you had before, which can go a long way toward increasing the bond with your Shells.
