Anime Expo 2026 has come and gone, bringing a wave of exciting announcements, but as you may already know, fans won’t have to wait until later this year (or the next) to jump into the stories behind them, since the manga behind several of AX’s biggest announcements are already available to read on emaqi!
The Vermilion Mask, a dark fantasy manga available exclusively in English only on emaqi, is gearing up for its anime debut in October 2026, as revealed at Anime Expo. Readers can get ahead of the anime premiere now with the first four manga volumes available through emaqi Premium. The new subscription service gives readers access to more than 400 manga series and 2,000+ volumes from more than 10 publishers for $6.99/month, with approximately 100 new volumes planned to be added every month.
Another fan-favorite of the show was The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy at All, the viral girls’ love manga known by fans as “Green Yuri,” which will receive a highly anticipated anime adaptation in January 2027. Readers can get a head start with the first three volumes, available on emaqi now.
Anime Expo also brought updates for several other series that readers can jump into on emaqi, including:
- Black Clover, ahead of its long-awaited second season arriving in October 2026 (Volumes 1-36)
- The Apothecary Diaries, which debuted the first trailer for its upcoming movie, arriving in Japan on December 11, 2026 (Volumes 1-15)
