HoYoverse has revealed its full Gamescom 2026 lineup, with Honkai: Nexus Anima and Petit Planet set to make their Gamescom debuts with playable demos with the 660-square-metre exhibition space in Hall 6.1, Booth B030, at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The booth will be open from August 26 through August 30 and will also include dedicated areas for Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.
Honkai: Nexus Anima will give attendees another opportunity to check out HoYoverse’s upcoming creature-collecting adventure strategy game following its recent multi-platform Evolution Test. Players will be able to collect Anima, explore the game’s world, and take part in Nexus Battles during the hands-on demo.
The game’s exhibition area will be designed around a town where humans and Anima live alongside one another. It will also feature a large Umpurrella installation, themed activities, and limited-edition Anima merchandise for attendees who participate.
Petit Planet, HoYoverse’s upcoming cosy galactic life simulation game, will make its international exhibition debut at the event. Its playable PC demo will allow attendees to farm, build, explore the Starsea, and spend time with the game’s fuzzy Neighbours.
We previously went hands-on with Petit Planet during one of its closed beta tests and found that there was much more to the game than its cosy presentation initially suggested. Alongside farming and decorating, players can expand their planet, invite new residents, visit nearby worlds, and participate in social activities through the Galaxy Bazaar. You can read our full Petit Planet hands-on preview here.
Elsasani will also appear during special meet-and-greet sessions, while Oumuamua will wander around the venue and interact with visitors. Players who complete the demo and participate in the booth’s activities will have a chance to receive exclusive gifts.
The Genshin Impact area will be themed around Snezhnaya, including recreations of the region’s railway system and Statue of The Seven. Attendees will be able to experience the latest content, test their knowledge of Snezhnaya, and earn themed merchandise such as magnets and badges.
Following the release of Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4 on July 15, the game will receive a Planarcadia-themed booth inspired by the Phantasmoon Games. Pom-Pom and several cosplayers will appear throughout the event, while attendees can participate in activities and purchase merchandise.
Zenless Zone Zero will also have a sizable presence following its second anniversary. Its area will include an EP vinyl listening session, a Bangboo-themed wall, cosplay appearances, photo opportunities, trivia quizzes, competitive challenges, and runway shows.
HoYoverse will also appear in the Gamescom business area for the first time. Media representatives and business partners will be able to visit the company at Hall 4.2, Booth B051, while the main consumer booth will remain in Hall 6.1 throughout the event.
