Arc System Works is gearing up for the Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls launch next month. The tag fighter has about 20 characters to shake a leverless at(unless you’re either got a pad, a custom, or waiting for that FlexStrike). With the Champion and Promoter up for gameplay grabs, some breakdowns are here. 
Storm, Captain America, Iron Man, Ms Marvel, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Penni Parker, Star-Lord, and now Magik are up. Surprisingly, no complete teams have been brought up yet. It’s as random as we can get thus far. There are several flyers here with zoning on lock.
Of course, you have to get the shoto of the game to get the first run of it. No, we’re not talking about Wolverine yet. That’s for the other series. Captain America started us off and rightfully so.
Who’s Got The High Ground?
According to Tokon.gg, these characters at least made the tier list which has a Star-Lord, Peter, and Ghost Rider leading the pack based on the betas past. Iron Man, Dr. Doom, and Captain America are A Tier, with Storm and Ms. Marvel taking in B tier and C tier respectively.
Perhaps this will change during the next batch of betas, and they get that exposure outside of the exhibitions at majors. Or even the beta starting this Friday, July 24th. Doom and Iron Man did get the higher play count since the first Marvel Tokon Tournament hosted by Tampa Never Sleeps.
Evo Las Vegas 2026 saw some more characters come into the exhibition matches which could determine where many are leaning on.
