Archetype Entertainment has released another new look at its upcoming sci-fi action RPG, EXODUS, continuing its rollout of gameplay clips ahead of a more in-depth reveal later this year.
In the latest video, despite it being short, is packed with action as Jun Aslan, Tom, and Elise explore the corridors of Khonsu before triggering ancient Celestial defenses. The encounter quickly shifts into combat, giving players another glimpse at how the game blends exploration with high-stakes action.
The clip highlights the Recycler weapon, which can switch between ranged Repeater mode and close-range Shredder mode, along with the gauntlet Lance ability that lets players hurl livestone javelins for heavy damage. It’s a small slice, but it reinforces the game’s focus on fast, adaptable combat.
Archetype that it will continue to release more gameplay clips through early summer, building toward a longer showcase. If this is any indication of what’s to come, EXODUS could end up being one of the more interesting sci-fi RPGs to watch heading into 2027, especially for fans of Mass Effect looking for something to fill that void.
EXODUS is currently slated for release in early 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
