Has The Mandalorian and Grogu Already Wrapped Filming?

Star Wars fans are in a weird place right now, which is very strange given how things started when the “new era” via Disney+ began with Mando a few years ago. While things started out great overall, the quality and rapid expansion of things led to some bad decisions and creative directions. Go look at the various reviews of The Acolyte here on The Outerhaven, and you’ll see the pain our colleague went through while just trying to watch the series. However, the “bright light” in all of this was the announcement of The Mandalorian and Grogu, which is a movie currently set for 2026.

However, in a newsletter from Puck, which is a reliable source of information, the movie has allegedly already wrapped filming! That would be surprising, given that the film only started production in July, which means they finished it in four months.

It’s worth noting that with all the CGI that likely has to be put into the various shots, they’re taking their time to ensure that it looks good. After all, The Mandalorian and Grogu is the first Star Wars film to hit theaters since the incredibly divisive ending to the Sequel Trilogy. Thus, they’ll likely take this extra time to make the movie shine, promote it heavily, and hope it makes Disney a bunch of money.
