XDefiant: When Does Season 0 End & Season 1 Start?

XDefiant, Ubisoft‘s new arena shooter, has garnered significant attention since its release. Players are eagerly anticipating the transition from Season 0 to Season 1. Here, we provide detailed information on when Season 0 will end and what to expect as Season 1 begins.

When Does Season 0 End In XDefiant

Season 0 of XDefiant began with the game’s launch on May 21, 2024. Ubisoft has announced that Season 0 will last for six weeks, setting its end date around the start of July 2024. This aligns with the typical length of a preseason phase, giving players a taste of what the game offers while setting the stage for the more structured content of Season 1.

When Does Season 1 Start In XDefiant

Season 1 of XDefiant is scheduled to begin on July 2, 2024. Ubisoft confirmed that new seasons would launch every three months, allowing for four seasons within the first year of the game. This consistent release schedule is designed to keep the game fresh and engaging, with regular updates and new content.

What to Expect in Season 1

New Faction: Ruby

One of the most anticipated additions in Season 1 is the introduction of the Ruby faction. While details about this faction are still scarce, it promises to bring new dynamics and strategies to the game. Fans are excited to see what unique abilities and characteristics this faction will introduce.

New Weaponry and Maps

Season 1 will also expand the arsenal available to players, adding three new weapons to the game. Additionally, three new maps will be introduced, providing fresh environments and challenges for players to navigate. These updates aim to enhance the gameplay experience by offering more variety and tactical options.

Battle Pass

The Season 1 battle pass will feature 90 tiers of content. This is slightly less than some competing shooter games, but it will still offer a substantial amount of cosmetic items. Players can expect a range of weapon camouflages and skins for various factions, ensuring that they can personalize their gameplay experience.

As XDefiant transitions from Season 0 to Season 1, players can look forward to an array of new content and updates. With the end of Season 0 in early July 2024 and the start of Season 1 shortly thereafter, the game is poised to continue its momentum. The introduction of the Ruby faction, new weapons, maps, and a comprehensive battle pass promises to keep the community engaged and excited for what’s to come.
