Mega Man X DiVE Offline Announced by Capcom

By Josh PiedraJune 12, 2023

Last week, Capcom Taiwan announced that the Rockman X DiVE game’s service would end on September 27. Fans who spent time in the Deep Log were treated to a surprise during today’s Capcom Showcase when an offline version of the game was announced for iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline was touted as having all of the levels and features of the original game with mostly all of the characters already unlocked; however, not everything will be transferring over.

Any saved data files will not work meaning everyone will have to start over from the beginning again. Also, battle mode, co-op play, guilds, rankings, and capsules have been eliminated from the game as well. Any collaboration characters (such as the Monster Hunter characters) will also be excluded from the game.

This means that this is being shaved down to a single-player experience but, at least you don’t have to drop money on a gacha system anymore!

While a concrete announce date has not been confirmed, it will be out sometime in 2023… presumably after the September 27 shutdown date of the live online service.
