The Callisto Protocol Will Include A 60fps Performance Mode

Yesterday on Twitter, The Callisto Protocol account teased that the upcoming title will include a graphics mode. This was about another upcoming title that has caused quite a discourse on Twitter and Reddit, and one I won’t mention. I’m sure you can figure out which game this is on your own.

This confirms that The Callisto Protocol will include both a graphics mode and a visual/resolution mode which will display the game at a high resolution. So far, nothing has been said about the latter mode, but I’m sure we’ll hear more about that as we get closer to the game’s release.

We would love to inform you all that we will be shipping globally on December 2nd. And yes, we’ll have a 60 FPS performance mode.

Another thing the post clears up is the recent rumor that The Callisto Protocol would be delayed until February 2023. A listing from the Epic Games Store had fudged the correct release date for an upcoming Halloween Sale, which has since been corrected.

The Callisto Protocol incorrect release date

For those who may not have been following the title. The Callisto Protocol will take place on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto, where the protagonist of the game, Jacob, attempts to escape a horrific place called Black Iron Prison. There, he’ll find challenges, deadly traps, and a collection of creatures called the Biophage, which are quite deadly.

The Callisto Protocol Collectors Edition will include a Collector’s Edition, complete with a statue featuring Jacob as he faces off against one of the grotesque Biophage. Oh yes, I already preordered mine. Did you?

The Callisto Protocol releases on December 2nd, 2022, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
