Monark: Guide to the missing student with no name

By Scott AdamsFebruary 16, 2022
Monark guide

At the very end of act 1 of Monark, you will be tasked with taking down the final Pactbearer in the old Dormitory. You will get to choose any character companion you like. Upon visiting this dark, mysterious location surrounded in the mist around the Memorial Garden, you will meet a girl who has the key to the gate to the old Dormitory. However, she will give you a request before she will provide you with the key. That request? Find the name of the missing person on the memorial.

How to find the missing student

You will be presented with only a few key instances of information for this quest . That information is the list of people who disappeared, all their student IDs, and a name scratched off with a student ID attached to it. If you talk to the girl again, she will say she remembers the missing name was a person who used to be in her class. That is the most important part of the information she gives you. When you look at her profile, you will notice that the class she is in, is Second Year class B.

You will need to go towards that classroom in the second-year building. When you get there, you will see a flower on a desk in the very back. It will have a letter from Chiyo to an anonymous person saying “I brought you your favorite flower” With the name of the flower being the title of the note “Rosemary”. Now you have all the pieces of this puzzle. Go to any location that has a computer. Input the Student’s ID, with the password being “Rosemary”

Congratulations, you just found the name of this missing person. Now you can go back to the girl and give her the answer to get the key and you will be set.

If you don’t like the blocks of text, then here is a step-by-step way to figure it out.

  1. Talk to the girl in the mist.
  2. Look at the ID of the missing student with no name
  3. Go to the second year building and interact with the rosemary flower on the desk in class B
  4. Interact with a computer with the ID of the missing student “020211010” Password “Rosemary”
  5. Go back to the girl and give her the name.

If there are any puzzles you need help with, message me on Twitter @sithscott. I will then use that to make a new guide after helping you understand it.
