When John Cena was cast as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad film by James Gunn, many were curious about how he would come off. Turns out, he would be one of the breakout stars of the film. And James Gunn felt that would happen, so much so that during the pandemic (before the film came out), he wrote a TV series starring him and it got picked up by HBO Max. The season finale of which is tomorrow and apparently (based on teases from those who have seen it) it will blow people’s minds. And to further state how much people and critics have loved this series…Peacemaker Season 2 has been confirmed.

Yeah, they’re excited for it. And further reports are stating that Season 2 will feature James Gunn writing and directing every episode. So the tone that fans have loved will no doubt be ratcheted up once it’s time to film. In the meantime, stay tune for our review of the first season!
