September PS Plus Games Include ‘Hitman 2’ and ‘Overcooked: All You Can Eat’

By Andrew AgressSeptember 11, 2021
Hitman 2

September has arrived and with it comes a new fall offering of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This month the games offer a bit of variety, with everything from sandbox stealth to multiplayer hunting to cooking minigames. Subscribers can now download Hitman 2, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked! All You Can Eat. The first two, Hitman and Predator, are for PS4, while Overcooked is only available for PS5.

Let’s talk a little about each one.

Hitman 2

Hitman 2 expands upon the first game with even more exotic locales to visit for some assassination mayhem. This time, the story focuses on Agent 47 hunting down someone only known as the Shadow Client. For the first time ever, the game offers co-op play in the form of the Sniper Assassin game mode. Oh, and if that’s not enough, you can also kill Sean Bean.

Predator: Hunting Grounds

Asymmetrical multiplayer games prove ever popular, and it makes sense to combine the premise with the movie Predator. Based on the franchise, the game features four humans competing missions while avoiding the infamous Predator. But of course, you can also choose to play as the Predator itself, using alien gear to hunt the humans down.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat

Then we have Overcooked! All You Can Eat, which actually contains two games in one. The definitive frenzied cooking game experience contains Overcooked and Overcooked 2, as well as all DLC. Here the games boast fully remastered visuals as well as online play for the first time. The cooking minigames come with a ton of customization options to them, for visuals, difficulties, and accessibility levels. All you can eat, indeed.

And there we have it. The last few PlayStation Plus months have been a little lackluster, but this month not only offers variation but some strong titles at that. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Hitman 2, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked! All You Can Eat until October 4th, according to the PlayStation Blog.
