Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has been hit with a delay — but luckily, it’s not a huge one. The game will now launch on July 23rd, with the official Twitter account breaking the news earlier today.
It might not be what fans wanted to hear, especially with the Netflix series’ second season on the horizon, but as Uncle Iroh might say: all good things come to those who wait.

AVATAR LEGENDS™: The Fighting Game will now officially launch on July 23, with crossplay-supported BETA access July 2–5 for those who Pre-Order on PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Those who preorder will get early access to a crossplay beta running July 2–5. Nintendo platforms are not included at this time.
Based on what’s been shown in the tweet, the playable roster appears to include Korra, Aang, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and Azula. As for the mysterious “previously unplanned” content — could it be a new character who was originally planned as DLC? Only time will tell.
