Nintendo’s Doug Bowser Confirms More Animal Crossing New Horizons Content Is On The Way

Fans of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing New Horizons can breathe a little better now. There’s good news on the horizon. When Nintendo didn’t show or announce any new content for Animal Crossing: New Horizon during the E3 2021 week, it was assumed that nothing else was planned for the game. However, that’s not the case, according to Nintendo of America’s President, Doug Bowser.

During an interview with The Verge, Doug Bowser stated that while the title was a no-show at E3, it’s far from done.

While we didn’t talk about it [during the E3 Nintendo Direct], we absolutely have plans going forward to ensure the 33 million people who have islands out there have new and fun activities to engage with. Look for more to come.

While Bowser didn’t go into detail as to what “new and fun activities” were going to be, if the head honcho is telling you things are coming, I’d tend to believe him.

Not that anyone shouldn’t doubt Nintendo’s plans for Animal Crossing: New Horizon. A game that went on to become Nintendo’s fastest-selling game of all time. When a game sells that well, you’d be hard-pressed to drop it. Nintendo is well versed in making money, so you can expect a lot more content to be released.

As to what that’s going to be, that’s anyone’s call. I know many game fans enjoyed the past events, including the Winter event and the past Spring and Summer events. Nintendo could very well likely have something planned for the Summer. And then, just like that, a new Nintendo Direct pops up out of nowhere with tons of news about it.
