Animal Crossing New Horizons Tops Japans Best-Selling List Of 2020

2020 was a very interesting year for games in every metric that mattered. There were good things that happened, and bad things that happened. But even with all the delays and having to shop online for titles, gamers still played their consoles and PC. The latest issue of Famitsu showcased how Japan looked in terms of their game sales for 2020. And their biggest seller? Animal Crossing New Horizons.

In fact, not only was it their best-seller, it was their best seller by a WIDE margin! And as for the Nintendo Switch, it dominated the list, including having 9 of the top 10 spots, and 13 of the top 15! You can check out the ten best-selling games in Japan below.

8. [NSW] Minecraft – 556,982 / 1,702,921
