The Mai Shiranui Statue That Will Leave Your Wallet Crying

By William "Shadowz" KokMay 17, 2021

If you happen to have a thousand dollars lying around, perhaps a new 1/4 scale Mai Shiranui statue from PJ Studio may be worthy of your collection.

This figure is part of the boutique series and stands at 54 cm (21.26 inches/ nearly 2 ft) high with a base of 35 x 24 cms. This Mai iteration is from King of Fighters XIII in which she stands on top of a broken ship, wreathed in her flame and mask of a tengu as it details in the description.

Thanks to the materials used, which include polystone, PU, and epoxy resin, this is a pricey statue. The more valued part of the statue here would be her eyes as they are comprised of glass with the figure painted in simulated skin tone. Should you wish to preorder, you can at Big Bad Toy Store. The exact price tag $1,049.99 before shipping and taxes with a mandatory down payment of $157.50. It is scheduled to be released in Q4 of 2021.

Should you wish to see her in action, check again her reveal trailer for King of Figthers XV.
