Best Buy is having trouble fulfilling Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Editions

By Keith MitchellJuly 16, 2020

It looks like Best Buy has just ruined several Ghost of Tsushima hopefuls this week, as they took too many Collector’s edition pre-orders and are having trouble fulfilling them. If you ordered yours from Best Buy, you want to check to see if it’s either shipped or waiting for pick up.

Seems Best Buy has been dropping the ball when it comes to Collector’s Editions as of late and they experienced a similar issue with The Last of Us Part II. According to Best Buy, they encountered a systems error that for some reason won’t let them fulfill your order of Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition.

As a consultation, they are attempting to ease the pain by offering a launch edition of the game and a full refund.

Chances are that system error made it seem like there were more CE’s available than there would be. Which in the end, the buyers either enjoy CE’s, like I do, suffer in the end. Their only alternative is spending an outrageous price on eBay or other internet locations.

What makes this CE so sort after is this particular one includes a mask that the protagonist in the game, wears. Along with a cloth map, a war banner, an art book, and a sexy steelbook case. Sadly, trying to find of these now is going to be nigh impossible, with most places already being sold out.

Ghost of Tsushima releases on July 17th, 2020 for the PlayStation 4. Many of which are calling this the last hurray for the console, a must-play, and a masterpiece. I can’t wait to play it for myself tomorrow, with my Collector’s Edition in hand that I didn’t get from Best Buy.
