Scarlet Nexus is Coming to PlayStation and PC

By Keith MitchellMay 8, 2020

It’s also releasing on the PlayStation and PC

During Xbox’s Inside Xbox May Livestream, a new game called Scarlet Nexus from Bandai Namco was shown and well, I’m already on board with it. It checked all the boxes and I was excited to see an anime-style game being released for the console.

However, once the trailer was over there were several questions that were immediately asked. But none more important than if this was going to be an “Xbox Series X Exclusive”. Well, for our PlayStation friends, the answer to that is a firm “NO”. You’ll see it on the PlayStation as well.

Confirmed by Bandai Namco, Scarlet Nexus will make it’s way to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, once the title is released that is. As for why it wasn’t mentioned during the live stream, well, it was an Xbox event. That and PlayStation more than likely wasn’t ready to show what 3rd party games were coming to the Platform. So now you can add one more potential PlayStation 5 game that you’ll want to acquire.

“SCARLET NEXUS aims to change the way gamers view Japanese RPGs with a powerful futuristic aesthetic as well as a streamlined combat system that balances fast-paced action with strategic planning,” said Stephen Akana, Senior Brand Manager for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “Led by an extremely talented team at BANDAI NAMCO Studios, including members from fan-favorite title TALES OF VESPERIA, SCARLET NEXUS combines years of game development experience with the excitement and creative freedom of the power behind the next generation of home console systems.

SCARLET NEXUS will be available for the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 console, PlayStation 4 console, and PC via STEAM.

So there you have it, Scarlet Nexus will be on just about every platform except for the Nintendo Switch and Stadia. Now, how’s about a release date, Bandai Namco?
