Nintendo Entertainment Podcast – Episode 167 – Return of the King!

The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast is here and with the rise of competition comes the need for the return of a co-host in the form of King Koopa Keith!

First up, the guys talk about their gaming exploits. Keith has gotten an advanced copy of a Switch game going to the PC, Daemon X Machina! Todd has been playing Pokemon Shield and is slowly getting his team to their peak levels! Including finally getting his Glaceon! Tyler has been furthering his time with Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and his love for Byleth is growing!

Then, in the news, the guys discuss the return of Wonderful 101 via Kickstarter, and whether this was the best move. They also talk about the delay of Outer Worlds because of the Corona Virus. The true reason Banjo-Kazooie is in Smash Bros Ultimate (hint: Minecraft). The evil that is FEH Pass, and more!

Finally, the main event is Settle In Smash, and it’s all about recent comments Phil Spencer said about Nintendo and Sony. Does Microsoft really think that Sony and Nintendo aren’t competition? How does that work? Or is this another angle that we’re not seeing? The guys debate!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!

Plus, vote in our poll question, would buy more Wii U ports if they’re of good games?

Don’t forget that we want YOUR suggestions for opening themes for future episodes of the podcast! Send your NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, or Nintendo DS suggestions to us via Twitter! You can reach Tri-Force Todd at @Guardians_Comic, Tellius Tyler at @TylerKelbaugh94, or Wario Will at @shadowz596! AND, you can reach us at our podcast handle @NEPPodcast!
