MapleStory M crosses over with Popular Anime Series Re:ZERO

Nexon America today announced a first-ever crossover event available on mobile MMORPG sensation MapleStory M. Based on the popular manga series published since 2014, Re:ZERO series regulars Subaru Natsuki, Emilia, Rem & Ram and Felt will join MapleStory for a special crossover event where players will be able to earn a range of MapleStory M X Re:ZERO themed rewards by completing events, collecting medals and visiting the special event Cash Shop.

Through December 2, MapleStory M players will have 14 days to complete the Re:ZERO 7-Days Attendance Event that will net them a bundle of rewards, including Puck of Gift Boxes, Puck’s Hat, Re:ZERO Death Buff and Drifters of the Other World. Additionally, players can receive a special Re:ZERO title badge, buffs, auto battle tickets and more by collecting Emilia’s Insignia during the event period.

During the crossover, maplers can also visit the Cash Shop for a chance to pick up unique Re:ZERO themed items, including chairs, costumes, emojis and hats. These exclusive items are only available for a limited time during the event period.

MapleStory, the iconic free-to-play global MMORPG from Nexon, is celebrating the defeat of the Black Mage with its latest game update, Glory: Strengthened Alliances. This marks the newest storyline following the overturn of Maple World’s legendary antagonist and will be available to players on November 20, 2019.

In this next phase, Maplers can join the legendary Glory Guard as part of the Glory event, running from November 20, 2019 to January 28, 2020. Players will receive Glory, earn Special Supply Boxes, and meet with exciting new missions as they progress through the ranks of the Maple Alliance’s Glory Guard forces.

Additionally, Hoyoung, a new Anima thief class, will be available on December 4, 2019. Originally from a temple in the mountains of Grandis, Hoyoung finds himself traveling the lands of Maple World to reseal the monsters he accidentally unleashed after unlocking the ancient seal. Equipped with a Ritual Fan and Fan Tassel, along with a variety of skills, Hoyoung is determined to undo his mistake by resealing the monsters he let out, with the help of Taotie, one of the four perils.

Several quality of life improvements will also be applied in this update. Experience required to level up from 220 – 234 will be decreased by 25 percent. New balancing changes, including New 5th Job Skills, which increases a players stats and damage, will provide a smoother, fairer, and more enjoyable MapleStory experience to all.

Players can enjoy additional events beginning November 20, including:

  • Glory Pre-Registration – Players who join the Glory Guard by December 3, will receive VIP Royal Hair and Face Coupon rewards.
  • Tera Burning – Maplers who make new Tera Burning characters gain two extra levels per level-up until they reach 200!
  • Extreme Breakthrough Event – Players who level up new characters from 201 to 220 will receive various rewards and access to missions with special items, including the Extreme Breakthrough Damage Skin.
