FromSoftware has finally revealed when Nintendo Switch 2 owners will be able to get their hands on The Duskbloods. The upcoming multiplayer action title will receive a Closed Network Test across five sessions beginning on August 21, 2026, with participant registration opening on July 22. Which, one of my buddies stated that this test is taking place during the same time that Anime NYC is taking place.
The Closed Network Test was originally announced during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, though Nintendo and FromSoftware did not provide any dates at the time. We knew the test would take place sometime during Summer 2026, and now prospective Bloodsworn finally have the details they need to participate.
Registration will open on July 22 through the official The Duskbloods Network Test website. Since this is a closed test, registering does not necessarily guarantee access, and FromSoftware has not stated how many players will be selected. You will also need a Nintendo account to register.

Due to the time-zone differences, the final session will continue into August 24 for players in some regions. FromSoftware also noted that the test dates and times could be changed or canceled without prior notice.
For those who may have missed the original reveal, The Duskbloods is a multiplayer action title that places up to eight players online against one another and the game’s enemies. Players take on the role of the Bloodsworn, beings who have gained power through special blood, while fighting for something known as First Blood as humanity’s twilight draws near.
