Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Brings In Elma From Xenoblade Chronicles X

By Todd BlackAugust 24, 2018
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has been using its Expansion Pass to expand the game beyond its main story. And of the biggest, and coolest, things it’s done is made a Challenge Mode where you can get all new Blades, including ones that are characters from past Xenoblade Chronicles titles. We’ve already got Shulk and Fiora from the original Xenoblade Chronicles, and now, we can add Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X to the list.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was one of the biggest titles on the Wii U, and easily one of the most ambitious with its mix of ground and mech combat along with a story full of twists and turns. Elma was one of the main characters (the player character was customizable), and was revealed to have been integral to the story in numerous ways. So bringing her into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as a Blade totally makes sense.

What’s more, it’s clear that this addition, which is part of Patch 1.5, will bring in music from Xenoblade Chronicles X. So if you want to wield Elma as your Blade, you’ll need to get the Expansion Pass. But, if you haven’t gotten Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yet, and aren’t sure if you should, you should read our review! We highly recommend the title.

Expansion Pass owners get ready to recruit Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X as she is entering the world of #XenobladeChronicles2! You’ll be able to add her to your party after completing the “Otherworldly Fighter” Challenge. pic.twitter.com/WguDM7Hj4P
