SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Adds Sylvie & Zarina To It’s Lineup

SNK Heroines - Zarina & Sylvie

Two more fighters are joining the SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy lineup. When people head into a fight, they will be able to add Sylvie Paula Paula or Zarina to their team. A new trailer has been released to celebrate their arrival.

Both Sylvie Paula Paula and Zarina made their debuts in The King of Fighters XIV. Sylvie is a former member of NESTS known for her electromagnetic powers. Zarina uses moves that resemble Capoeira, has a toucan friend named Coco, and can also infuse her attacks with Chi.

Here is an overview of each character, via NIS America:

  • Zarina – Zarina packs a powerful punch with her Chi Attacks, and is ready to defend the home of her toucan companion, Coco, from destruction. With a knack for dancing the samba, her rhythmic moves will knock out anyone who stands in her way.
  • Sylvie Paula Paula – A cute and quirky girl, Sylvie came from a secret society known as NESTS, who experimented on her to bring out her special abilities. Those googly eyes and that voice inside her head? Well, they’re her friends, so don’t mess with any of them, or Sylvie will give you quite a shock!

Each character is also getting two alternate costumes in addition to the ones we see them highlighted in the trailer. Based on the silhouette image toward the end of the trailer we’re now awaiting just five more heroines to join the cast before the roster will be complete.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is an upcoming fighting game developed by SNK and published by Nippon Ichi Software. It is planned to be released for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 7, 2018, and will also be available as an arcade game at a later date. The game plays as a 2D, 2v2 tag-team fighting game.
