New Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Teaser Trailer Is Pretty Exciting

Street Fighter V is showing more signs of life

Just because Capcom’s Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition doesn’t release until January 16, 2018, doesn’t mean they can give us something to look forward to. And thankfully we don’t have to wait long as Capcom has just released a new trailer showcasing what’s in store.

This sick trailer gives a look at several new combo extenders, new mix-ups,  new moves and more. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will also provide a new arcade-mode, as well as monthly challenges via Extra Battle Mode. All characters will also gain a secondary V-Trigger, of which you can see in the trailer below.

Did you happen to see Guile’s new V-Trigger that lets him do 3x Flash Kicks? Looks like this is a good time to get back into Street Fighter V when new update drops.

Keep in mind that if already own Street Fighter V, then the update to the Arcade Edition will be completely free. Newcomers will be able to pick up Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for $39.99.  This will include nine character costumes that include 30th anniversary and nostalgia costumes.  In addition, the characters from Season One and two will be available as well.

Ok Capcom, you’ve got my attention. Now, what about those Season Three characters?

Street Fighter V is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC. For more information on Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, head over to the official Street Fighter website.
