Yoshi Platformer Coming to Switch in 2018

By Tyler KelbaughJune 13, 2017
Yoshi

A new Yoshi platfomer will arrive on Nintendo Switch in 2018. It has the same charm and color of Yoshi’s Wooly World, although this time Yoshi hasn’t been knit together. He’s traveling through a cardboard landscape that flips to reveal two different sides. It’s very reminiscent of Kirby’s Triple Deluxe and Kirby’s Planet Robobot.

Yoshi 2018 is just one of many huge surprises from Nintendo’s E3. A new Kirby game is also in development, set for a 2018 launch. Metroid Prime 4 will also be coming, although it’s release date is unclear.

Tyler Kelbaugh is a Nintendo writer for The Outerhaven Productions. He fell in love with gaming at the ripe young age of 4, a passion born from years of consistently failing to survive Marble Zone. If you mention the words "Fire Emblem" around him he'll talk your ear off. He's also a pretty competent Smash Bros. player, and a passionate sports fan.
