Get ready Wii U owners, Minecraft: Story Mode is on the way

While many of the other gaming platforms have had access to Telltale’s quirky Minecraft: Story Mode, Wii U owners were left out in the cold. Well, that’s about to all change as Telltales has announced that the Wii U version will be released later on this week.

Arriving on the Wii U on January 21, 2016, will be first episode “The Order of the Stone” and will be accessible via the Nintendo eShop for $4.99. A Season Pass will also be available shortly after for $19.99 and will give access to the remainder of the episodes up to 5, when they are ready for download.

New to the Wii U version of Minecraft: Story Mode will be the ability to utilize the gamepad to keep on playing if the TV is being used for other things, integrated touch-control options which will let gamers play using touch gestures only.
