2K Sports released its latest trailer for NBA 2K15 today, featuring this year’s pre-game commentary team of Ernie Johnson and 4-time NBA Champion Shaquille O’Neal of Turner Sports’ ‘NBA on TNT,’ with the latter coining the term “YAKKEM” to describe the sound of a silky smooth trey from Kevin Durant. Backed by “Suck My Kiss” from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the trailer features high-paced court action from a bevy of NBA stars, including LeBron James in his Cleveland Cavaliers’ uniform.
In addition to this video, 2K Sports also issued an additional video last week featuring NBA 2K15 Cover Athlete Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis discussing the game. NBA 2K15 is set for release on October 7th of this year, featuring 11 new Euroleague Teams and a Pharrell Williams’ curated soundtrack, on Sony’s Playstation 3 and 4, Microsoft’s Xbox One and 360, as well as its Next-Gen debut on Steam.
