Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Play Multiplayer With Friends

By Faith LaneDecember 7, 2023

Disney Dreamlight Valley has released its biggest update yet, bringing not only its first DLC but also a brand new feature that has been long awaited: multiplayer. This feature is available within the free update and doesn’t require players to do anything extra in order to start doing it as long as they have Vanellope unlocked. If a player doesn’t already have Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph, they will need to unlock her, and here is a guide on how to. Going forward, this guide will explain what to do in order to play multiplayer with a friend in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Open A Multiplayer Lobby

Getting multiplayer in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a super easy process. With the latest update, players will be able to go and talk to Vanellope and do the “Valley Visits” quest. Vanellope will then give players this machine, which can be used to invite more players over to your Valley.

For now, only 4 players can be active on one single valley at a time, giving them the opportunity to check out Scrooge McDuck’s store and drop materials for their friends. For now, there isn’t much else that players can do as of right now but it is a fun way to interact with your Disney Dreamlight Valley friends.

We don’t know if more multiplayer features will release in the future, but for now, the game has definitely gone in a Animal Crossing: New Horizons direction and how the multiplayer works with it. Once players are able to use the machine will be able to give them a code which players can then use to invite their friends over. If a friend is going over to another friends Valley, they will be able to enter the code and travel over. That’s everything to know about multiplayer in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
