Guilty Gear Strive Elphelt’s reveal leaked ahead of schedule

Well, it happened again. While ArySys has been teasing a new character for Guilty Gear’s Season Pass 3, that surprise has been spoiled, thanks to the Asian branch of Bandai Namco Entertainment posting the announcement ahead of The Game Awards reveal.  Though, this wouldn’t be the first time Elphelt was leaked, it’s just now get to see an official reveal, just ahead of time. And while we don’t see the trailer as it is marked as private, the damage has been done.

Thanks to the art on the character page, we can see that Elphelt looks completely different than she looked in GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN-.

However, the most significant part of the leak is the new game mode coming to GG Strive. Called “Team of 3,” this new game mode will allow six players, via 3 vs 3, to fight on the same stage against each other. While we don’t know the specifics of this new game mode, all will be revealed soon.

Guilty Gear -Strive- is playable on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
