So I saw this game show up randomly in my feed a month ago, and I thought it was a hilarious concept. And now at the Black Voices in Gaming Summer Game Fest Showcase, it got a proper release date trailer. The game I am talking about is Truck-kun is Supporting me from Another World?!
This is a concept that makes sense, but also is one I never thought of seeing actually made. In the anime world, Isekai is a huge genre. One of the easiest ways to force someone to go to a different world is that the character gets hit by a truck. This game turns that concept on its head, where the driver of the truck that isekai’s someone is now helping them in their fantasy world. They have to hit certain things to help provide resources and experience to the character that Truck-kun pushed to an alternate reality.
The only way to get her home is through reckless driving and massive collateral damage as you send helpful resources crashing across dimensions. Together, you’ll unlock the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and claim his legendary Scroll of Resurrection.
The game will be playable this month at Steam Next Fest via a free public demo.
Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! launches on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S on July 29.
