One of the things that Death Battle promised when they did their Kickstarter was that certain teams would return to make future episodes, and one of them was the return of Torrian Crawford. He was DB’s dedicated 3D animator for a long time before moving on to other things (See: Star Wars Jedi series. No, really!) However, when the team asked him to do an episode once again, he jumped at the chance, and today, Dante vs Clive showed once more why Torrian is on another level when it comes to fights like these.
This Death had a lot of connections, including the literal Final Fantasy 16 Combat Director talking about this fight, as he worked on both the Square Enix title and the beloved Devil May Cry series for years. Plus, both characters had similar abilities, transformations, and could endure a lot of punishment. So, the question is, who would come out on top? The team answered in epic style. That’s a promise.
