Without a doubt, The Boys has been one of the most consistent superhero series out there, which is honestly one of the most insane things to think about, given how crazy it gets and how it’s not meant for all audiences. Yet, the team behind, mixed with the great cast, has provided something special to the point where every season is anticipated. After a successful spinoff in Gen V, The Boys Season 4 is coming, and today, we got the first teaser trailer for the 4th outing…things are getting dark.
If you don’t recall Season 3 (read our review!), Billy Butcher went to great lengths to try and stop Homelander, and it almost destroyed everything he built. Meanwhile, Homelander finally dropped his charade about being a “true hero” and became an inciter of hate and violence under the guise of justice. In the end, Butcher finds out he is dying, Homelander gets his son back, Starlight leaves The Seven and officially joined the good guys, and the world is waiting for what is happening next. In The Boys Season 4 teaser trailer, the “allies” of Homelander and Starlight are on the brink of conflict, Homelander is more than happy to stoke the flames, Butcher calls in an old friend for help, and new Supes are coming in to stir the pot.
