Now that the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test is underway, I tested the Avatar Creation tool. After playing around for over 10 minutes, we can see that Capcom really put some work into this, and overall, it surprised me.
Unlike the Monster Hunter creator creation tool, there are a vast number of options that will allow you to be more specific when creating an avatar. Skin tones, eye colors, hair, aging effects, and more. Even better, once you’re done creating your masterpiece, you’ll be provided with a list of the options you’ve used so you can back that up or share it.
It seems that Capcom has been listening to the fans, and I’m sure once everyone has access to Street Fighter 6, they’ll see for themselves. But for now, check out this footage as I create a Street Fighter 6 avatar in my image… Or as close as I can get it.
Unfortunately, the servers are offline, and we couldn’t check out the world tour. But as soon as those babies are back up, it’s game on.
