Following the conclusion of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour 2023-2024 (Congrats, Ikari!), the producer of the game, Tomoko Hiroki, spent a moment to thank all the players who participated in the 2023 rollback netcode beta that took place for the Dragon Ball FighterZ from November 30 – December 10, 2023.

Hiroki revealed that rollback netcode will make its way into the game officially. There currently is no date, as the team is working on adjusting the upcoming tweaks, but has announced that once the rollback netcode is ready, the announcement for the eagerly awaited update will be revealed via the DBFZ website and social media accounts.DBFZ World Tour 2023-24 Finals 7-11-56 screenshot

Hiroki wanted to remind everyone that the netcode update is still in the works, as maybe they will remember that during EVO 2022, Hiroki took to the stage to announce that the rollback netcode update was coming to the game.

Currently, she humbly asks the Dragon Ball FighterZ community to wait a bit longer for both the rollback netcode and the release of Dragonball FighterZ for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. Currently, the game is only playable on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
