Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase

After weeks of speculation, the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase finally arrived this morning, and as many fans predicted, it featured many 3rd party titles that were previously leaked/guessed upon before. However, there were a few surprises, so allow us to give you a brief recap of everything that happened within.

  • As teased by Microsoft, two former Xbox exclusives, Grounded and Pertinent, are coming to Switch. It’ll be curious to see how this does on the system, and whether it’ll be a trend for things to come.
  • Unicorn Overlord, the upcoming tactics RPG from Vanillaware, will have a demo that you can play on Nintendo Switch today!
  • The original Monster Hunter Stories title from the 3DS is coming to Switch in remake form! It’ll feature HD graphics and full voice acting!
  • One of the more surprising reveals is that of the original Epic Mickey. It’s getting a remake in 2024 for Switch and other platforms, and so if you missed it on the Wii, now is your chance to check it out!
  • Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengenace is coming on June 21st. It’ll be an upgraded version of the game with a brand-new storyline!
  • Nintendo Switch Online is getting an influx of Rare titles, including the original Killer Instinct, RC Pro-Am, Battletoads Battlemaniacs, and more!
  • And there were several other titles named after that!
