It’s very telling that we’re still getting information and announcements about the Nintendo Switch 2 nearly a week after its Direct revealed plenty of information to the world. The latest piece of information comes from Supergiant Games, the team behind Hades 2. The epic Greek mythology-based roguelike was already confirmed to be coming to the new console, but during a special “Creator’s Chat” video, the team at Supergiant broke down the game even further and dropped a key bombshell that will get people talking.
Specifically, that reveal is that Hades 2 will be a console exclusive at launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 and the OG Switch! It appears to be a timed exclusive for obvious reasons, but this isn’t too far from what happened with the original Hades title on the last generation of consoles. So, if you want to play it in its full version right at launch, the Switch 2 is the place to be!
