Chun-Li Playable In Fatal Fury: City Of the Wolves At DreamHack

By Kevin KellyOctober 15, 2025
Chun-li in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves

SNK announced that Chun-Li will be playable at Dreamhack Atlanta on November 1st for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Right on time for the SNK World Championships, but not to participate as a roster add to change up the meta. Chun-Li is a part of the Street Fighter 6 X City of the Wolves collaboration.

Also, the eternal rival to Fatal Fury’s Mai Shiranui, as the developers have pointed out during their reminiscing of Capcom vs SNK and SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos memories. Testers will get a commemorative sticker for taking her out for a spinning kick.

Similar to Ken being Terry’s rival, the Interpol cop might have some words for the ninja when she arrives. What will bring Chun-Li to South Town is the real question. Perhaps the same ordeal with Ken being a wanted man and JP being seen as Ken’s story pointed out. Surprisingly, Mai and Chun-Li had not even connected within Mai’s Street Fighter 6 Arcade mode story, but there could potential to do this within the Episodes of South Town storyline.

If the look seems to ring true, this will be a variant of Chun-Li’s Street Fighter VI kit with SNK to imagine whatever they seem fit. If I were to guess, Serenity stance might be on the menu with Rev and breaks for Spinning Bird and her Upkicks. One-handed Kikoken chi-blasts might even get the feint. Hazanshu would come back as a versitile cancel move. And of course, who could forget the Lightning Kicks? Capcom gave Mai and Terry their signatures with alterations to their options, so SNK might do the same with Chun-Li.

Chun-Li would be due to appear in December to follow suit with the other appearances of Andy, Joe, and Ken. Mr. Big will end the first season with him appearing in February before Season 2 starts. Joe was just released and he’s fantastic thus far.
