Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls was shown at Evo Vegas 2026 for exhibition matches. IFC Yipes and Cloud805 went to work with some teams to show off the new Magneto gameplay in a Surprise Challenge. Magneto, Iron Man, Ms Marvel, and Magik, took on Storm, Star Lord, Magik, and Ghost Rider. IFC Yipes came out on top in a 2-1 win in this high level play bout.
Magneto has several projectile attacks which differ from his Marvel vs Capcom iteration. He still has a flight dash. Marvel Tokon News also had some Diaphone plays with the character.

Magneto has a pull or push move called Polarity Shift and can leave debris on the stage to bring up again. Magneto is that technical character to watch out for.
Magneto is a part of the Knights of Doom team in Marvel Tōkon with Carnage, Green Goblin, and of course – Dr. Doom.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC. The FlexStrike Arcade Fight Stick will also be coming out at the same time with pre-orders opening soon.
